  1. Is there any reason you have never tested a Rohrbaugh? In my opinion it is one of only few true pocket guns in 9mm.

    1. No reason at all. Watch the blog for a new ammo test soon featuring the Rohrbaugh R9. I've always done my reviews on new stuff, but there's no reason not to review the older stuff too.

  2. I'd love to see a review of the Seecamp micro-guns. My own experience with one was so miserable that I'd love to see another opinion.
Mine was unreliable, kept breaking firing pins, and produced trigger-finger blisters after one or two shots.

  3. Thanks for the Ruger review, I have been looking at this gun for a very long time now and I guess its time I get one.

  4. Thank you very much for the very comprehensive Sauer review. Been looking for something like this for quite a while now.

  5. How about the STI Elektra in 9mm?

    1. I'm pretty happy with my STI Shadow 45. Can't see the need for another 3" 1911 and I would have to purchase the pistol in order to review it.

  6. Have you ever test an AMT BACKUP???

    1. I had an AMT DAO 380 Backup I purchased new in the early 1990's. It was horrible. The trigger was way too heavy and you had to remove a roll pin each time you wanted to clean it.

    2. Thats what ir heard about the DAO trigger, I have a SA and works really nice, about the roll pin... yeah is a pain in the ass, give another chance to a SA, i'll really enjoy and learn about your reviews, thanks a lot Mr. Bruce

    3. The AMT was replaced by a Colt Mustang Pocketlite. It's also a single action and Colt reintroduced them a few years ago so I'd go that route or maybe the Sig 238 if I was shopping for a new single action 380. I know there are still AMTs being sold out there, but I'm always reluctant to buy into a firearm when the manufacturer is no longer in business or has changed hands several times. Magazines and parts get scarce and expensive quickly.
